Kizuna Dance | 2022 Open Intensive | Brief Recap

Artistic Director Cameron McKinney and Kizuna Dance company members are thrilled to offer the NYC dance community a WEEK of FREE, DAY-LONG Contemporary Floorwork Intensives through our Open Intensive Program. Program is open to both pre-professional and professional dancers.

  • Take up to TWO intensive workshops for FREE

  • Experience the company's mix of floorwork, streetdance, and capoeira

  • Connect with the dance community in a welcoming space

Each day consists of two contemporary floorwork-oriented technique sessions (10am - 1pm & 2pm - 5pm). Participants can register through the button below for up to any TWO technique sessions. For example, you may register for a morning session on Monday and an afternoon session on Friday, a morning and afternoon technique session on the same day, or just one session. Registering for any more than two days will result in you only being registered for the first two available sessions you selected. Registration closes on July 22, 2022.

Most classes will be lead by Kizuna Dance's Artistic Director Cameron McKinney, and some will be lead by current Kizuna Dance company members. The teachers for each class slot will be announced closer to the intensive start date.

Participants will be required to show proof of COVID vaccination. You are required to be fully vaccinated and boosted to participate in this intensive. No exceptions will be made.

Housing and transportation in and to NYC is not provided.

Limited Capacity Available for each day of the intensive. Sign up is first come, first served.
